Elvis Presley was an American singer born on January 8, 1935, in East Tupelo, Mississippi, USA. He passed away on August 16, 1977, in Memphis, Tennessee, at the age of 42. Presley is one of the most celebrated and influential musicians of the 20th century, achieving commercial success across various genres, including rock 'n' roll, pop, country, and gospel. He is recognized as one of the best-selling music artists in the history of recorded music, having won three Grammys and receiving the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award at the age of 36.
