Emerson, Lake & Palmer, commonly known as ELP or EL&P, was a prominent English progressive rock group formed in 1970. The band consisted of members Keith Emerson, Greg Lake, and Carl Palmer. They gained recognition for their compositions influenced by classical and jazz music, showcasing virtuoso musicianship and extravagant live performances. ELP disbanded in 1979, reformed in 1991, and disbanded again in 1998. They reunited once more in 2010.
