EMF is an alternative rock band hailing from Gloucestershire in South West England. They were active from 1989 to 1997 and are best known for their hit singles "Unbelievable" and "I Believe." The band's name, which stands for Epsom Mad Funkers (or, allegedly, Ecstasy Mother Fuckers), was derived from a fan club. After a hiatus, EMF reformed in 2021 and has since been involved in new recordings and live performances, primarily in the UK.
