Emitt Rhodes was an American multi-instrumentalist and singer, born on February 25, 1950, in Hawthorne, California. He passed away on July 19, 2020, also in Hawthorne. In the 1960s, he played drums for several groups before founding his own project in 1967. Between 1970 and 1973, Rhodes released four solo albums, writing, producing, and playing all instruments on three of them: "Emitt Rhodes," "Mirror," and "Farewell To Paradise."
