Enrico Coniglio is a guitarist, environmental sound recordist, and sound artist from Venice, born in 1975. His work focuses on the aesthetics of landscapes, particularly through the lens of ambient music and the soundscape of the Venetian Lagoon. Coniglio's research explores the loss of identity in places and the uncertainties surrounding territorial evolution. He is a member of AIPS – Archivio Italiano Paesaggi Sonori. His music has been released by various labels, including Fluid Audio, Crónica electronica, Gruen Rekorder, Taalem, Fear Drop/Fario, Glacial Movements, Hypnos, Psychonavigation, Silentes, and Touch/Spire. In recent years, he has performed solo and in collaborative projects at numerous venues, festivals, and art galleries, including Planet Love Summer Session in Dublin, The Big Chill in Birmingham, Hydrophonia in Barcelona, Flussi in Avellino, Teatro Fondamente Nuove in Venice, Café Oto in London, O’ in Milan, and Störung Festival in Barcelona. Coniglio collaborates with several projects, including Tavoloparlante (with Nicola Di Croce), (with Giovanni Lami), Sens-O-Tape (with David Bickley), (with oophoi), (with Emanuele Errante and Elisa Marzorati), and the open-source project Exquisite What. Together with Leandro Pisano, he also runs a digital label.
