Entombed is a death metal band from Stockholm, Sweden, formed in 1989. Originally known by a different name, the band faced a legal dispute in 2014 over the rights to the Entombed name, resulting in original member Alex Hellid retaining the rights while the remaining active members, including longtime vocalist L-G Petrov, continued under a different name. In 2016, members Ulf Cederlund, Nicke Andersson, and Hellid reunited for live shows to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their second album, "Clandestine." In July 2022, the band reunited once again for a festival performance in memory of their late vocalist, L-G Petrov.
