E.R. Thorpe is a singer-songwriter based in North Nottingham, returning after a brief relocation to Marlborough, Wiltshire. Formerly known as The Listeners, she is now embracing her individuality as a solo artist. Over the past decade, Thorpe has shared the stage with a diverse range of artists, including Junip (Jose Gonzalez), Caitlin Rose, Kelly Oliver, Amelia Curran, Kathryn Tickell, and Bing Ji Ling. She has collaborated with Huw Costin of Torn Sail, contributing her vocals to 'Ricochets' alongside Mark Lanegan for the album *This Sweet Short Life*. Additionally, she has lent her voice to Lunar Parks (Sam Hempton of Six by Six) and has sung on recordings by her late father, acclaimed blues musician Kevin Thorpe. Thorpe has developed a distinctive and evocative sound, captivating audiences with her pin-drop performances. Her music is characterized by a blend of naivety and precision, featuring unique chord choices and intricate finger-picking that creates a captivating atmosphere.
