Erhalder is a Basel-based sound engineer and composer specializing in electro, jacking techno, and acid music. He runs an electro label and a YouTube channel dedicated to electronic music production. In addition to his studio work, he occasionally performs live and co-hosts the FM radio show "SlackJackerz – The Rave Channel." He has collaborated with others and is one half of a duo.
