Eric Chance Stone is an American artist known for his unique blend of rock, pop, and country music, which he refers to as "Nautical Americana." Born and raised on the Gulf Coast of Southeast Texas, Eric developed a passion for music at a young age when his mother taught him to play guitar. He played in a high school rock band until an airline job took him to Florida, where he continued to pursue music in his spare time. A subsequent job transfer to Hawaii allowed him to learn the ukulele and embrace a more tropical sound. After moving to Nashville and working as a staff songwriter, Eric released his first album, "Songs For Sail," in 1999, showcasing his tropically inspired songs. He later performed at international boat shows and became the official entertainer for Pusser’s Marina Cay in the British Virgin Islands. His experiences in the Caribbean further fueled his storytelling abilities. With the release of his 16th CD, "All The Rest," Eric was inspired to become a novelist. He found mentorship from authors like Wayne Stinnett, Cap Daniels, and Chip Bell, and his writing features elements of Voodoo and Hoodoo, taking readers on adventures from the bayous of Texas to the Voodoo dens of Haiti. His main character, Rick Waters, is a down-to-earth adventurer turned private eye who solves mysteries using his treasure hunting skills.
