Eric Vann is a pseudonym used by Joel Vandroogenbroeck, a multi-instrumentalist born on August 25, 1938, in Brussels, Belgium. He is best known as the leader of a Swiss psychedelic band. In the early 1980s, Joel adopted the name Eric Vann for a few library LP releases that he described as records made in a style distinct from his usual recognizable sound. The reason behind this name choice remains a mystery.
