Eulalio González Ramírez, known as "Lalo González" or "El Piporro," was born on December 16, 1921, in Los Herreras, Nuevo León, and passed away on September 1, 2003, in San Pedro Garza García, Nuevo León. He was a multifaceted artist, recognized as an actor, broadcaster, screenwriter, singer, and composer of northern and mariachi music. El Piporro is celebrated as one of the greatest comedians of the Mexican gold cinema. He earned the nickname "El rey del taconazo" from Jesús Martínez "Palillo" after performing at the Folies Bergère theater, where he created the heel dance, also known as redova norteña.
