ex.girls is a music project that began as a solo endeavor in 2011. It later evolved into a trio with the addition of members and Tatjana Dis Aldísar. In 2022, the band received recognition at the Icelandic Music Awards, winning the title of electronic track of the year for their song "Halda áfram."
