Exmagma is a German underground jazz fusion super trio rooted in Stuttgart. The group features keyboard player Thomas Balluff, who began his musical journey with the soul band Muli & The Misfits in the 1960s. Guitarist and bassist Andy Göldner hails from Five Fold Shade, a local rhythm and blues combo. Drummer Fred Braceful, an American jazz musician who relocated to Germany in the late 1950s, distinguishes himself as the only member not originally from Germany, having worked extensively with Wolfgang Dauner and Et Cetera.
