F. Kenya is a musician from Asiama in the Eastern Nzema District, who formed his band in 1965. Initially trained as a goldsmith, his passion for music led him to join the Ahamanos Band in the 1960s, followed by the Kakaiku's No.1 Band. Since establishing his own band, F. Kenya has recorded several Akan records, as well as his primary Nzema records, which have gained him fame beyond Ghana, including in Ivory Coast.
