Failure is an American alternative rock band that was formed in 1990 in Los Angeles and disbanded in 1997. After a 16-year hiatus, they reunited in 2014 for a sold-out show at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles, which sold out in just 4 minutes. This was followed by the "Tree of Stars" US tour. In 2015, they released a new album titled "The Heart Is A Monster" and toured to support it. In 2016, the band celebrated the 20th anniversary of their album "Fantastic Planet" by performing it in its entirety during a new tour. On March 14, 2018, they announced plans to release four EPs, which would collectively form the complete album "In The Future Your Body Will Be The Furthest Thing From Your Mind." The finished album was released in its entirety on November 16, 2018, and the band began touring for it on March 11, 2019. On July 3, 2020, Failure released a re-recorded cover of Depeche Mode's "Enjoy the Silence," titled "Enjoy the Silence 2020."
