**Falco** Real Name: Johann Hölzel Born: 19 February 1957, Vienna, Austria Died: 6 February 1998, near Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic (car accident) Falco was a pioneering Austrian musician known for his innovative blend of pop, rock, and rap. He achieved international fame with hits like “Der Kommissar” (1981) and “Rock Me Amadeus” (1985), the latter making him the only artist to top the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 with a German-language song. From a young age, Falco showed a deep interest in music, studying at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. His upbringing in a musically inclined family nurtured his passion for the arts. He had a daughter, Katharina, with Isabella Vitković, although their relationship was tumultuous and a paternity test later revealed that she was not his biological daughter.
