Falsobordone is a prominent medieval ensemble from Sweden, celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2005. Over the years, they have performed at numerous medieval-themed events across the Nordic countries and have also taken their music to international locations such as Moscow, Seattle, and San Francisco. The original members, Erik Ask-Upmark (who plays bagpipes, harp, portative organ, and provides vocals) and Anna Rynefors (who plays fiddle, rebec, bagpipes, percussion, and also sings), draw their repertoire and inspiration from the medieval cultures of Mediterranean countries, including Spain, France, and Italy. The ensemble often collaborates with talented musicians like Göran Hallmarken (hurdy-gurdy, bagpipe, percussion) and Karin Strinnholm Lagergren (vocals). Falsobordone is based in Skåne, a region in southern Sweden.
