Fancy is a German producer and singer born on July 7, 1946, in Munich, Germany. He began his career in the German schlager style and met Jimi Hendrix in 1967. He created demo tapes with Giorgio Moroder and produced various international projects with Claudia Field and Red Face in the mid-'70s. In 1984, he achieved his first hit with "Slice Me Nice" and found success in the dance charts, topping the Billboard Dance Chart three times. In 1985, he had a "Top 10 of the Year" hit in the US Billboard Dance Charts with "Chinese Eyes" as both a producer and singer. Throughout his career, Fancy has produced for various artists, including Slip, Grant Miller, Claudia Field, Tom Carabba, Mozzart, Hurricanes, Timerider, and Linda Jo Rizzo from the Flirts. In addition to his musical endeavors, he has provided humanitarian support for street children and Siberian tigers across different countries for over 20 years. Fancy has also served as a guest docent at the Munich Public High School (MVH).
