The Fantastic Four was a soul group formed in 1965 in Detroit, Michigan. The original lineup included Wallace 'Toby' Childs, James Epps, and brothers Joseph and Ralph Pruitt. Over the years, the group experienced significant changes in their lineup. Their third single, "The Whole World Is a Stage" (1967), featured a B-side that became their biggest pop hit. After a brief period, they were signed to a label where they released five albums during the 1970s.
