Fantômas is a creative project conceived by Mike Patton, inspired by a series of pre-World War I French crime thriller novels. The character Fantômas embodies an anti-hero who engages in heinous crimes, representing anyone and no one, existing everywhere and nowhere. He wages an unyielding war against bourgeois society, earning the title of the Lord of Terror.
