Farid El Attrache was a renowned Syrian musical master, celebrated for his exceptional skills as an oud player, composer, singer, and actor. Born on October 19, 1910, in Swaida, Syria, he passed away on December 26, 1974, in Beirut, Lebanon. Often regarded as the greatest oud player of all time, El Attrache spent most of his life in Egypt. He was also the brother of a famous Syrian singer and actress.
