Fat Larry's Band was a Philadelphia soul, disco, and funk band formed in 1976 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. The band was fronted by drummer Fat and released nine albums over the course of a decade, working with various labels. They achieved significant success with hits such as "Act Like You Know," "Zoom," and "Lookin' For Love." The group also collaborated with other artists and managed by notable figures. Unfortunately, the band disbanded following the premature death of Fat in 1987 at the age of 38.
