Fat Larry's Band was a Philly soul, disco, and funk band formed in 1976 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. The band was fronted by drummer Fat and released nine albums over the next decade under various labels. Their biggest hits included "Act Like You Know," "Zoom," and "Lookin' For Love." The group also collaborated with other artists and managed by notable figures. Unfortunately, the band folded after the premature death of Fat in 1987 at the age of 38.
