Fatboy Slim, born Quentin Leo Cook on July 31, 1963, in the UK, is a renowned musician and DJ. He was previously married to radio DJ and television presenter Zoë Ball, making him the son-in-law of a British television personality. He adopted the stage name Fatboy Slim in 1995, releasing his second solo album, Better Living Through Chemistry, which featured the Top 40 UK hit "Everybody Needs a 303." In 1998, he released the single "The Rockafeller Skank" and the album You've Come a Long Way, Baby, which included his first UK solo number one, "Praise You." The music video for "Praise You," directed by Spike Jonze, received multiple awards. In 2000, Fatboy Slim released his third studio album, Halfway Between the Gutter and the Stars, featuring collaborations with Macy Gray and the hit "Weapon of Choice," which also garnered an award-winning video starring Christopher Walken. He produced tracks for Blur's album Think Tank in 2003 and returned with his fourth studio album, Palookaville, in 2004. His greatest hits album, Why Try Harder, was released on June 19, 2006, featuring eighteen tracks, including ten Top 40 singles, a couple of Number Ones, and two exclusive new tracks: "Champion Sound" and "That Old Pair of Jeans."
