Father John Misty, the stage name of an American singer/songwriter from Rockville, MD, originally released music under a different moniker before adopting his current pseudonym for the 2012 album. Since then, he has released five additional studio albums: in 2015, in 2017, in 2018, in 2022, and in 2024. He has collaborated closely with a co-producer for his albums.
