Faun is a German progressive pagan folk and medieval band founded in 2002 in Munich. The band is known for its unique blend of old medieval instruments and modern electronic sounds. As of 2018, the lineup includes members who play a variety of instruments such as vocals, Irish bouzouki, nyckelharpa, mandocello, celtic harp, saz, tar, guitar, various lutes, bagpipes, flutes, and several percussion instruments, among others. They have also incorporated synthesizers and keyboards into their music. The band has seen several former members contribute to its sound over the years, showcasing a diverse range of talents and instruments.
