Faye Wong (王菲) is a Chinese singer-songwriter and actress born on August 8, 1969. She is widely popular in China, Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, and is often referred to as "the Diva" in the Chinese-speaking world. Early in her career, she briefly used the stage name Shirley Wong (王靖雯).
