Frederic Mompou (Barcelona, April 16, 1893 - June 30, 1987) was a Spanish composer and pianist. He studied piano at the Conservatorio del Liceo in Barcelona and gave his first concert at the age of 15. His miniaturist compositions were influenced by French impressionism, among others. He was married to a Spanish pianist.
