Fenton Robinson was an American blues singer and guitarist, born on September 23, 1935, in Minter City, near Greenwood, Mississippi. He passed away on November 25, 1997, in Rockford, Illinois. Robinson began his recording career with Meteor in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1957, and later recorded for Duke in Houston, Texas, between 1958 and 1959. He moved to Chicago in the early 1960s. Throughout his career, he collaborated with notable artists such as Rosco Gordon, Junior Wells, Sonny Boy Williamson, and Otis Rush, in addition to releasing his own records.
