Fernando Falcão (1945–2002) was a Brazilian composer, percussionist, and visual artist whose work bridged experimental music, folk traditions, and avant-garde sound art. Emerging from Brazil’s vibrant cultural scene, Falcão later settled in France, where he recorded his now-cult albums *Barracas Barrocas* (1980) and *Memória das Águas* (1984). His music blends organic percussion, voice, and electronics, weaving textures that evoke both the natural world and emotional introspection. Long overlooked, Falcão’s visionary sound has found renewed appreciation among contemporary listeners and collectors of groundbreaking Brazilian music.
