Fernando Gelbard is an Argentinian jazz pianist, keyboardist, flautist, composer, and record producer, born on February 11, 1940, in San Miguel de Tucumán, Tucumán, Argentina. He is the son of José Ber Gelbard, a notable Polish-born Argentine activist and politician who was a member of the Argentine Communist Party. José Ber Gelbard was born on April 14, 1917, and passed away on October 4, 1977.
