F/i is a band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, formed in 1981. They have released a half-dozen LPs and initially focused on noise structures, drawing influence from various artists. In 1983, they changed their name from their original name to F/i. A member of the band later went on to form another group but occasionally returns to F/i.
