Fishbone is a California-based band formed in 1979 in Los Angeles, known for their unique fusion of funk, metal, rock, reggae, ska, punk, and soul. The original lineup included Angelo Moore, John Norwood Fisher, Philip Fisher, Kendal Jones, Walter A. Kibby, and Christopher Dowd. As of 2025, the current members are Angelo Moore, Christopher Dowd, Tracey "Spacey T" Singleton, Hassan Hurd, JS Williams, and James Jones. Over the years, Fishbone has seen various musicians come and go, with previous members including John Norwood Fisher, Walter A. Kibby II, Phillip "Fish" Fisher, Kendall Jones, Anthony Brewster, Dion Murdock, Tori Ruffin, André "PaDre" Holmes, Curtis Storey, John McKnight, Dre Gipson, Freddie Flint, Rocky George, Jay Armant, Paul Hampton, John Bigham, John Steward, Mark Phillips, and Aroyn Day.
