Fitz Henrique Gore was a tenor saxophone player born in Jamaica on August 8, 1935. He moved to Europe in the early 1950s, spending time in various locations including London and Copenhagen, before settling in Paris. In Paris, he met notable musicians such as Dexter Gordon, Johnny Griffin, Mal Waldron, Steve McCall, and Jimmy Woode. Later, he relocated to Bonn, the capital of West Germany, with his wife Gisela. In Bonn, he formed a group called The Talismen, which included musicians like Ulrich Kurth (piano), Lukoki Mampasi (electric piano), Lamont Hampton (congas), Gerard Ebbo (bass), and Philippe Zobda-Quitman (drums). Fitz Gore passed away in Bonn, Germany, in 2002 due to heart failure.
