Five Seasons is a music project created by Daniel Voss in 2007, initially as a solo endeavor alongside his collaborations with his brother, Roland Voss, in projects like WEATHERTUNES, LEMONGRASS, and JASMON. Daniel, born in Northern Germany in 1977, began playing piano at the age of five, receiving training in classical and jazz piano. As a teenager, he expanded his musical skills to include keyboards, guitars, and percussion instruments, performing in several alternative rock bands and gaining experience with electronic instruments. At 20, Daniel launched his first professional collaboration, "Weathertunes," with his brother and soon became involved in various lounge and chillout projects. In the early 2000s, he also released music under the pseudonym "Green Empathy." Over the course of more than 15 years, Five Seasons has released eight albums and five EPs, contributing tracks to numerous Chillout and Lounge compilations. The second album, "By The Sea," features Brazilian vocalist Marisol Costa, while the third album, "Walk," includes contributions from vocalists Gushi from Argentina and Jane Maximova from Russia. The music of Five Seasons spans various styles, including Chillout, Downtempo, Ambient, Jazzy Lounge, Chill House, and Trap Beats, often incorporating Caribbean or Latin influences. Daniel is also a co-founder of the label LEMONGRASSMUSIC.
