Flame Fortune, born Heather Hogue on January 29, 1962, was a singer and VJ from Los Angeles, California. She began her career as a child actor under the name Heather Harrison and later edited a music zine called Hot Rocks. As a teenager, she co-presented a cable TV music show titled The Heather and Annie Show from around 1979 to 1981. In 1985, she released an Australian single co-produced by management and recorded a second single in Sydney in 1989. Fortune also worked as a VJ on the VHS music magazine Underground USA. Tragically, she was murdered in Lake Los Angeles, LA County, on December 16, 1991. There were rumors of a mid-'80s relationship with Michael Hutchence, and the INXS song "Show Me (Cherry Baby)" is said to have been written about her.
