Flaming Ember is a US blue-eyed Detroit soul group originally known as the Flaming Embers (with an "s") before 1968. The band consists of Joe Sladich (guitar), Bill Ellis (piano), Jim Bugnel (bass), and Jerry Plunk (drums). In the mid-70s, they changed their name to "Mind, Body & Soul."
