Fledgling was a band based in London and Boston that had a brief existence. They debuted in 1995 with a solid album on TVT Records, but it underperformed commercially. A year later, the band took legal action against TVT after the label declined to release their second album. Following the disbandment, Eileen Rose pursued a successful solo career.
