Floorplan is a father-and-daughter DJ and production duo from Detroit, Michigan, consisting of Robert Hood, a founding figure of Detroit techno, and his daughter, Lyric Hood. Lyric became part of Floorplan in 2016 when she was invited to collaborate on a track. Since then, the duo has operated as a joint project, merging Robert Hood’s established background in techno and house with Lyric Hood’s vocal and creative contributions. Floorplan is known for releases that blend house, techno, and gospel-inspired elements.
