Flor de Cactus was a band from Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, known for their exceptional musicianship. The lineup included Chico Guedes on bass and vocals, Mingo Araújo on percussion and vocals, Chagas on Ovation acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and vocals, Etel on keyboards and vocals, Nando on rhythm guitar and vocals, and Neguinho on drums, timbales, and vocals. The group was categorized as RURAL ROCK and was recognized for their well-arranged covers of songs by notable Northeastern Brazilian artists such as Geraldo Azevedo and Zé Ramalho. They gained national recognition in 1981 when they participated in a Globo festival with their song "Mistura."
