Flower Travellin' Band is a Japanese rock band that formed in 1970 from the remnants of other groups. The lineup included Joe Yamanaka on vocals, Hideki Ishima on guitars, Jun Kobayashi on bass, and George Wada on drums, each coming from different bands: 4.9.1, The Beavers, TaxMan, and The Flowers, respectively. By the end of 1970, the band relocated to Toronto, Canada, where they lived until March 1972. The band disbanded in April 1973 but reunited in January 2008 with all original members, joined by Nobuhiko Shinohara.
