Fonda Rae is an American R'n'B, disco, and house music singer and artist, born in Ossining, New York. She gained recognition with her seminal single in 1982, which reached #22 on the U.S. Club Play chart and #75 on the U.S. R'n'B chart. This track has been sampled by several artists, including in their single "Eric B. Is President" (1986) and in "Fat Rat" for the " (1991). Additionally, her classic single "Touch Me (All Night Long)" released in 1984, where she was the lead vocalist of a group, peaked at #70 on the U.S. R'n'B chart and #49 on the UK chart. This song would later become a huge success with a cover version by in 1991. Fonda Rae also charted with another single in 1983, which reached #19 on the U.S. Club Play chart. She was the lead singer for the track "Deputy Of Love" in 1979 and contributed to the track in 1980. At one point, she was a member of a group and has appeared as a vocalist for numerous artists throughout her career.
