Force M.D.’s is an R&B/Rap quintet formed in 1983 in Staten Island, New York, USA. The group was discovered by Mr. Magic on the Staten Island Ferry Boat. Initially named The LD's, they later became Dr. Rock & The Force MC's before finally settling on Force M.D.'s. Tragically, three of the original members passed away within five years of each other. Khalil rejoined the group in 1998, and they were also joined by their nephew, Zieme Capers, who contributes vocals. Current member: Zieme Capers. Past members include Jessie D (died March 9, 1995), (died 1996), (died January 18, 1998), (died September 16, 2016), and Damen Heyward (died on January 4, 2022).
