**Bio:** Foreign Beggars are a prolific and versatile Hip Hop outfit from the UK, averaging over 100 shows per year. The group consists of MCs Metropolis and Orifice Vulgatron, producer Dag Nabbit, human beatboxer Shlomo, and DJ Nonames. Their diverse backgrounds, which include jazz and classical training, as well as extensive experience in hip hop, death/power-metal, and drum & bass, contribute to one of the most explosive live rap showcases globally. Individually, the members have achieved notable accomplishments, including appearances on Bjork’s ‘Medulla’ album and the Gorillaz single ‘Tomorrow Never Comes.’ They have also produced remixes for Amp Fiddler and Corinne Bailey Rae and toured the United States with James Lavelle’s UNKLE. Collaborations with hip hop heavyweights such as Stones Throw’s OhNo, Guilty Simpson, Wildchild, and Dudley Perkins, along with producer DJ Vadim and others from various genres, further showcase their versatility. Shlomo has made significant contributions to the music scene, creating the world’s first Vocal Orchestra and serving as an “Artist in Residence” at the South Bank Centre at just 22. He has curated the 2007 world beatbox convention in London and has judged at the UK Beatbox championships, performing alongside notable artists like Bjork, Dizzee Rascal, and Damon Albarn.
