Forever Amber was a young British pop band from Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, formed in 1967. Originally known as "The Country Cousins," they changed their name in response to the rise of psychedelia. The band consisted of six members but struggled with financial resources, limiting their potential for success. They produced only 99 copies of their sole album, The Love Cycle, to avoid tax. Forever Amber disbanded in 1969.
