Forrest was a disco-soul singer born in Galveston, Texas, on April 21, 1953. He moved to Los Angeles as a teenager, where he released a series of singles. Later, he relocated to the Netherlands, where he recorded a full-length album. His biggest hits include his cover of the 1974 standard classic "Rock The Boat" and "Feel The Need." Forrest passed away at the age of 60 from a stroke on September 9, 2013, in Tilburg, The Netherlands.
