Four Tet, born on September 2, 1977, in Putney, London, England, is a British post-rock and electronic musician, DJ, producer, and label boss. He began his career in 1994 as a member of a post-rock band before transitioning to more electronic sounds under the alias Four Tet. In addition to his work as a recording artist, Hebden also runs his own label. He is notably recognized for his extensive collaborations with jazz drummer, particularly during the late years of the drummer's life.
