Fran Jeffries was an American singer, actress, and model born on May 18, 1937, in Palo Alto, California. She passed away on December 15, 2016, in Los Angeles, California. Jeffries is known for her cameo in the 1963 film "The Pink Panther," where she performed "Meglio Stasera (It Had Better Be Tonight)" while dancing around a fireplace. She also sang in the sequel, "A Shot in the Dark," and made a brief appearance in "Sex and the Single Girl." In 1971, at the age of 35, she was featured in Playboy magazine in a pictorial titled "Frantastic!" and returned for a second pictorial, "Still Frantastic!," at the age of 45 in 1981. Her work in music includes the release of the single and LP "Sex and the Single Girl" in 1964, and in 1966, she recorded an album titled "This Is Fran Jeffries" for Monument Records. In 2000, she released another collection of standards called "All The Love."
