Francis Coppieters was a Belgian jazz pianist, born on September 7, 1930, in Brussels, Belgium. He passed away on November 11, 1990, in Köln, Germany. Coppieters studied at the Conservatoire De Musique in Brussels and moved to Cologne in 1957 to join a music group. He further served as a pianist and composer for NDR Hannover and SWF Kaiserslautern. Throughout his career, he worked with record companies, publishers in library music, and television. Additionally, he was a lecturer at the Cologne University of Music.
