Franco Godi is an Italian musician, bandleader, and composer, born on June 10, 1940, in Milan, Italy. He is known for composing many successful jingles in the 1960s and 1970s for commercials, which gained popularity through the TV strip Carosello. Additionally, Godi authored numerous soundtracks for short films and animated films, including Allegro non troppo and Vip - Mio Fratello Superuomo, created by Bruno Bozzetto. In 1976, he founded a music label.
